New tool to help you make a complaint about Shield and First Guardian losses
Many people have just found out that they have lost money after their super was invested in the collapsed Shield and First Guardian Master Funds. Working out what happened and how to make a complaint to ask for your money back can be a bit of work because of how complicated this situation is. To help make the process easier, Super Consumers Australia has developed a new Complaint Navigator Tool to help you decide who and what you should complain to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) about. You can make a complaint about more than one business.
We also have an Adviser Look Up Tool that will help you work out the right business to name in your complaint to AFCA about a financial adviser.
Super Consumers Australia continues to support impacted people through the Take Your Super Back website, which hosts these tools and outlines key steps for lodging a complaint with AFCA. Visit the site for more information and to get started on getting some of your money back.
