Take your super back with our new complaint form
If you’ve lost money in the collapse of Shield or First Guardian Master Funds, the best way to try to get some of your money back is by making a complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
Making a complaint to AFCA is free and independent, and you don’t need a lawyer to do it. But, the process can still seem complicated and overwhelming. To make it easier, Super Consumers has developed a new, simpler complaint form. It’s designed specifically for people who lost money in Shield and First Guardian.
We’ve also developed checklists to help you find the information and documents you need to support your complaint.
The complaint form and checklists can be downloaded from the Tools page of the Take Your Super Back website.
These resources join our other tools:
- our complaint navigator tool,
- our adviser look-up tool
- stories about other people who’ve been awarded money by AFCA.
